Came to say the same! And yea, I haven’t been following this closely or anything … but apart from the visual style (which I’m totally down for) I really have no idea what this is … which is awesome!

Also, perhaps as a sign of how indie this is for Coppola, he seems to have a youtube channel just for promoting this film and is posting the trailers there: https://www.youtube.com/@Francis_Ford_Coppola_

Maybe it’s a fake channel, I dunno if youtube do any verification.

The fact that the description includes “great-grandfather” suggests his family sorted it out for him.

“Gramps needs a YouTube. Any of you kids know how to do that?”

I feel like no amount of trailers or reviews are going to give me an idea of what to expect from this film, and it feels like I’ll probably not know what I think about it until several days after the credits have rolled.

I’m not convinced it will be a good film, but it absolutely seems like a must-see for me.

From the title you might think the movie is Metropolis but with an ancient Greek vibe, but the trailer shows that it’s Metropolis but with an ancient Roman vibe so not too far off actually.
