79 so far. If we could just block instances it would be so much better. OR if we had a distinction between NSFW porn and NSFW non porn. I just don’t want porn in all, but I want to be able to discover new communities. And I don’t want to block all NSFW because I enjoy some content that is marked as NSFW…I just don’t want porn.
I’m ok with the porn, I just want to avoid the furry shit. Titties? Sure. An anime fox fucking another anime fox? No thanks.

Yep, I got the same issue with blocking communities. It would be so much simpler to simply block pornlemmy and lemmynsfw than to block the myriad of communities that pop up
I don’t mind some of the porn. I can just scroll by it when I’m not interested in it.
I’m sure a user based block instance will show up in Lemmy at some point.
I don’t mind the porn either, but not on my main accounts on lemmy.ca and lemmy.world
There’s a whole yiff instance with various yiff communities. I think I may have finally gotten them all.

The connect app has the ability to block instances, which I find very helpful.
It’s a fantastic feature, but the app just does not work well for me
