It is rather telling though that all the countries who were terrible and (eventually) got better latter, such as Belgium and South Africa, are directly calling out the acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing that they recognize as such.
The only response I’ve seen from pro-IDF people is just attacking said past history, rather than addressing the statements themselves.
