take a look at what’s available at this post on lemmy.world, accessible at https://old.lemmy.world
this is so amazing, it’s like a timewarp back to the good days
sourcecode is here https://github.com/rystaf/mlmym, major thanks to @[email protected]
if it’s not easily implementable, i understand
If it’s easy to implement I wouldn’t mind having this as well.
Honestly, yeah, there’s just something about the old.reddit skin that’s wired into my brain. I wouldn’t say no to blue rather than green, either.
I’m currently logged in to my feddit.UK account via https://mlmym.org/feddit.uk.
It’s a little weird entering my password into this other website, but I decided that a person who codes old.lemmy is probably trustworthy…(?) Anyway, that’s one option for you.
Obviously it would be better if it were implemented locally at feddit.uk.
oh perfect, this is what i was after
thank you!
as you said, would be nice if implemented locally, but this works just as well

And a reminder how far web design has moved on! It looks pretty horrible but, if it isn’t too much effort and there’s a demand for it… Why not?
It’s funny you say that, because I find “modern web design” verges on unreadable. It’s like contrast went out of fashion.
There’s contrast and then there’s a poke in the eye. Quite where that falls is subjective.
A feature I would like to see implemented is the ability to theme Lemmy. I was having a play with it on Calckey and you can really go for it on the amount of customisation.
Don’t know what you mean there, it looks great - good web design died about 10 years ago.

You can still use Reddit like this if you go into your profile and opt out of the redesign. No idea how people use the redesigned reddit at all.
