why not just monster meat, I think a dragon cut up and fried should be pretty tasty

I’d think a reptile
i’d imagine something along the lines of ostrich/alligator
Birds are reptiles, so both is possible.
But I’d say probably not a bird. In fact I’d say they branched off of stem reptiles before even mammals did.
