Yeah alcohol works well. WD-40. too.

That is kind of just how non hall effect thumb sticks are. But I’ve had great luck with Deoxit D5. You have to take apart the controller so you can squirt it directly into the switch itself but as long as it’s not a mechanical problem like a weak spring, the Deoxit usually gets it working like new.
Listening to my modified Minimus 7’s highlight the poor mixing of the Alan Parsons Project.
I love these. Thanks!

My concern is that those big beams (blue) end where they meet the plywood (yellow). Which means they are transferring their downward force into the board(s) highlighted in green. That in turn presses down on the vertical studs highlighted in red. These aren’t connected to anything on the bottom. So the weight from the beams gets supported by the screws attaching all these pieces to the plywood wall? Maybe if they’re just for looks and not structural support. Maybe that’s how it’s done in germany.
Holy shit, is that load bearing plywood on the far wall (with the rectangle window).
My friend, you need help from someone that knows what they are doing and familiar with local codes before proceeding any further.
Perhaps they should start a gofundme or something.
My car insurance went up $1200 this year, which blows my mind. No reason given.
Kind of like jobs. If you stay with the same company for more than a couple years, you’re probably doing yourself a disservice.
They need very little water. Especially during winter. Seconding everything on the other comment too. I would repot them with fresh, well draining soil and if you see anything squishy and brown, cut it off. If you have to cut on the roots, leave it out for a day before putting it back in soil to let the cut callus over. Snake plants are tough, they won’t mind.
Depending on your local climate, they would probably make better indoor plants. They’ll tolerate low light areas that other plants won’t.

One of my mom’s that exploded the pot it was growing in. I wish I had got a better picture.
Squeeze a third of the bottle into the trash, replace missing portion with Underwood ranches Sriracha, shake well and squirt on anything edible.
Same here. Everything worked pretty much right out of the box with Nobara. And my total linux experience in the last decade is running Mint on my work laptop the last 3 months. I tried to switch over to linux gaming in the late 00s, but it was far too much work then. I spent more time getting X3 to work then I ever did playing it. Completely different experience these days.
Really depends on the game/story and if I like the characters. For example playing Fallout 4 as a female protagonist felt out of place, like it was just a mod that someone hacked in. But on the other side Cyberpunk 2077’s male character annoyed me enough that I restarted as female V. And then there’s games like Skyrim where the only difference I notice is the grunts you make in combat.
They’re both varieties of Sansevieria (Snake Plant). Super easy to care for as long as you can refrain from watering them all the time.
He built most of an AK receiver (the federally regulated part in the US) out of a shovel but probably 90% of the gun (by mass) was off the shelf AK parts. And he has decent tools. But it’s still pretty impressive.
Here’s one of the original threads.. It has cats!
Yeah, I realized I misread it a minute later and tried to delete the comment but lemmys weird.
Or buying/building a milling machine. Or a lathe. Or a drill, a hacksaw, and some files.
15 day waiting periods for Home Depot trips. You better plan those plumbing projects in advance.

Works with amazon too. Even if something is legitimately still under warranty and it breaks, it’s usually far less hassle just to buy another and return the broke one for a refund.
It’s one of the messier options but it still works well. The switches in my logitech g604 have been bounce free for over a year now after hosing then down with WD-40. That’s longer than any of the warranty replacement mice lasted.
Deoxit leaves a residue, too, that will stain clothes. That residue is what helps the contacts from oxidizing again in the future.
