I use that but it only works from the home screen. If I use the gesture from an app it just interact with the app.

Ohhh I just assumed it was what my pixel 8 was using.
Seriously. I’m tired of blinding myself at night when trying to sleepily check my phone. The sensor on the back of my old pixel could also be used to pull down the notification shade which I can’t easily reach with one hand, now, since the screen is so large.
That makes sense. I’ve been using a bidet for years; there’s no going back!
I didn’t downvote it but it seems out of place for an article about people dumping cooking grease down the drain.
Are people wiping with grease now?
Found this from yesterday: https://phys.org/news/2024-10-fast-quantum-entanglement-scientists-attosecond.html
I needed a simple script to combine jpegs into a pdf. I tried to make a python script but it’s been years since I’ve programmed anything and I was intermediate at best. My script was riddled with errors and would not run. I asked chatgpt to write me the script and the second or third attempt worked great. The first two only failed because my prompts were bad, I had never used chatgpt before.
Subnautica is the scariest game I’ve ever played. Can’t wait for official co-op.
It’s an asterisk if you’re using the Sync app.
edit: just realized where this was posted. Disregard.
It means they’ve edited their post.

Why/ how? There is an application process and disqualifying criteria for a security clearance. The suggestion is that if you can’t pass that process you should not be let in on any confidential information.
No it was the opposite. Information laid out in his dossier continues to prove true over time as more details are released to the public. Not sure that anything has been shown to be false.
Most criticism you find is heavy on colorful language like “'fake news” and “common sense” but lacks any disproving evidence.
You want evidence?? Are you some kind of antisemite?? /s
Yea, it looks like the win rate for consumers in arbitration is less than 1%. I’m not sure what consumers win rate is in court but it must be better than that.
A law firm was trying to extort Valve with 75k arbitration claims which would cost $3k per claim ($225mm total). As an alternative they offered to settle for $2.9k per claimant.
In the 5 years since the binding arbitration was introduced valve has had only 3 arbitration cases and won all three.
Summarized from the article.
What point do you think you are making? You may need to reread the comment chain.
Policies based on their feelings instead of facts.
I’m using a pixel 8 with graphene. If I try to use that gesture while browsing lemmy with the Sync app, for example, it just scrolls the feed back towards the top.
I only explain bc I’m hoping I’m using it incorrectly.
