This is great – it’s fun and pleasing to look at. Well done! For me, the most interesting parts are the thick layering of blue to create that impasto effect, and the octopus’s arms breaking out of the bounds of the canvas onto the blank void. I like where you’re pushing up against the boundaries of how you’re conventionally supposed to paint, would love to see more of that if you do this again.
