Wie willst du das denn anstellen? Dafür müssten die Arbeitszeiten ja so sein, dass der der zuletzt auf der Arbeit sein muss vorher alle abliefern kann und dann müsste er gleichzeitig auch der erste sein der Feierabend macht, um die anderen wieder einzusammeln.

Außerdem müssten die Arbeitszeiten dann auch 100% gleichbleibend sein. Will einer mal früher Feierabend machen, müssten das alle tun. Muss jemand länger arbeiten und der andere hat Termine, geht das auch nicht. Und Schichtbetrieb ist ebenso raus.

Ganz davon abgesehen dass die Arbeitsplätze auch jeweils 20-30km auseinanderliegen .

Kommt wohl auch auf die Art des Landlebens an^^ In einem Ort mit 900 Einwohnern, dem nächsten >5K Ort 20km und dem nächsten Supermarkt 6km entfernt, geht nicht viel ohne Auto.

Wenn ich bei mir aus dem Fenster schaue sehe ich so gut wie kein Haus welches nicht mind 2 Autos auf dem Hof oder in der Garage stehen hat. Ausnahmen sind Häuser in denen nur ein Rentnerpaar lebt, da ist’s meist nur ein Auto.

Direkt gegenüber ist z.B. ein Haus mit 3 2-Personenhaushalten und insgesamt 5 Autos, weil eben 5 Leute davon zur Arbeit müssen.

Naja da hättest du schon mal ~23% die eher auf 2 PKW angewiesen sind, was die 27% Haushalte mit 2 PKW doch recht normal erscheinen lässt. Dass die Zahl gestiegen ist obwohl weniger Leute auf dem Land wohnen kann auch damit zusammenhängen dass in immer mehr Haushalten 2 Personen arbeiten müssen

Hm wir sind 4 Personen im Haushalt von denen 3 arbeiten und mangels öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel kommen auf unseren Haushalt so auch entsprechend 3 Autos.

Und das wird gerade auf dem Land bei sehr vielen Haushalten so sein und kann sich auch in nächster Zeit nicht ändern, denn dafür müsste von uns aus zu jedem der 3 Arbeitsplätze und zurück ein Bus fahren der nicht nur alle 2 Stunden kommt und wo die erste Linie erst nach Beginn meiner Arbeitszeit überhaupt fährt.

This. It almost only applies to desk jobs. Production workers can’t just work a day less and keep the same output, and if they can’t do it, people like me who are responsible for keeping the production running as part of their job(electrician in my case) also can’t work a day less.

If companies wanted to do this, they’d have to hire more workers to give everyone a 4 day week. But all this would do is create more costs for the company

That’s technically true and also the reason why a 60FPS locked game can indeed look smoother on a 120Hz display compared to 60Hz. Because 60FPS don’t always hold a steady 16.67ms between each frame so it could happen that on a 60Hz display you’ll see a frame twice and skip another one instead.

Nowadays you ideally have a monitor which supports variable refresh rate so this becomes a non issue because every single frame now gets his own refresh.

Schon, das war der Grund, warum man dachte, der Antrag käme von der CSU. Wenn man nun davon ausgeht, dass sie den Antrag zumindest grob gelesen haben, sagt man damit aber auch aus, dass man nicht dafür gestimmt hätte, wenn man gemerkt hätte, dass er von der AfD kommt, selbst wenn man mit dem Inhalt ja scheinbar konform geht.

Man hat also nur dafür gestimmt, weil man den Antragsteller überlesen hat.
Und das finde ich nicht gut, da man auch als Mitglied einer Partei so abstimmen sollte, wie man selbst überzeugt ist, auch wenn das die Position einer anderen Partei ist.

Yeah where I live, there’s a bus every 2 hours that needs ~30 minutes to get to where I work. If I took that, I’d have to walk an additional 15 minutes to my actual workplace and I’d still be an hour too early.
And after work, I’d have to again walk 15 minutes to the bus stop and wait another 30 minutes for the bus home.

So between leaving my house and coming back home, there’d be ~11.5 hours. When I use my car, that’s ~9.5 hours.

If a bunch of nazis want to run a server and post racist shit all day we can’t stop them. But we can (and should) defederate from them. They can have their own private island.

And what if they post racist shit all day on their own instance but also post normal and helpful stuff on communities of other instances? Just don’t visit their communities, that’s it. No need to block potentially helpful posts of members of that instance everywhere.
The same thing when there’s a NSFW and your own instance doesn’t want to see NSFW stuff. That’s fine but it’s not like the users of that NSFW instance are running around posting porn on every other community.

If some of them do, block the users. But there’s no reason defederating the whole instance because those users can and do also participate just fine in other topics that have nothing to do with NSFW or nazi stuff.

For example why should a programmer that has a nazi instance as his home not be allowed to post memes in a community about programming humour from a regular instance, when he doesn’t post anything there that is in any way related to him being a nazi?
