The only real crack for IDM is the Ali.dbg one. Rest usually don’t get updated and cause issues, make sure to fully uninstall IDM before installing a new version (using: Bulk Crap Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller, etc…)

Btw, Free Download Manager is something to consider, it’s opensource, free, without any tracking/ads 🐂💩 (With integration for FireFox and Chrome or any browser based on these two.)

Been there, done that, found more holes in vivaldi than the chrome itself, switched up to LibreWolf (a hardened fork of firefox.)
