Most of the people doing it are not some government organization. They’re often ragtag militias or straight up PMCs posing as environmentalists. In Africa particularly, many of these “anti poaching” militias are owned by former Rhodesian officers

You’ll do a lot more to protect the environment by killing coke executives and giving the money to the villagers nearby so they can stop poaching.

Lmao. Come on now. Almost every organized gang started off as some noble cause that devolved with no leadership or infiltrated. The US has funded countless anti communist death squads, soldiers, and intelligence officers in Latin America who became drunk with the immunity and money, and then guess what? They formed cartels that hang limbless, headless bodies from bridges and trafficking cocaine into the states.

Now why would a bunch of sworn protectors of state commit such atrocities and traffic drugs? Seems rather hypocritical and cynical, doesn’t it?

I mean, pirates aren’t just smashing and grabbing diamonds out the store. They’re holding actual workers hostage while the executives are on some yacht, so I don’t really care one way or another about them. But the whole “killing poachers” shit is greenwashing nonsense that not only allow vigilante murders, but also victimize random people who have nothing to do with poaching because when you put out a flier recruiting killers, you don’t get the most stable people

  • war with nazi germany in which Russian people were sacrificed for Stalin’s mistakes

Even if this was the case, wouldn’t this be the preferable to you know, being gassed to death or enslaved to build Aryan amusement parks?

    suppressed revolutionary socialist throughout world

True, to an extent. The world’s communist movements were too reliant on the USSR and had an existential crisis when Kruschev denounced Stalin. Little independent thought can cause quite the chaos and destruction. Not to mention some of the instances where they worked against socialists to further their own agenda

people starved while astronauts explored space

Didn’t the live expectancy rise continually during its existence except during the wars and 1991?

    alliance with nazi germany

It wasn’t an alliance. If we assume that Stalin was a psychopath and cynical, why would he have an ALLIANCE with Hitler when the Nazis and Hitler viewed Russians and Slavs as subhuman trash that’s only good for slavery and extermination?

  • Lmao. I’m sure they’ll overthrow the government, just like the Americans did to their own government after invading Vietnam and Iraq. Have you seen what the Russian government is doing to mild protestors? Black bagged, sent off to who knows where, doing who knows what. It’s Kent State by like 500x. This isn’t 1980s USSR. The people there support Putin. And those who don’t and protest are still denounced by the west for not doing enough, as if westerners have ever succeeded in holding their governments accountable.

The most realistic outcome is that Putin resigns in disgrace and 20 years later they make shoot and cry movies about Russian soldiers in Ukraine. And then they’ll rehabilitate Putin as a strong leader anyway.
