Any chance you can add saved comments eventually? In the saved tab inside your profile, it only shows saved posts. I haven’t seen any Lemmy client that has done this yet.

P.S what would be the best way to send bug reports. Using TestFlight or something else?

Sorry about the delayed response, you’re the first to actually post here other than myself.

I really don’t know how I overlooked that detail, I’ll absolutely add that in. I’m about to release an update today with some new features and fixes, but I will hopefully be releasing another update tomorrow, and I’ll see about including saved comments in that update.

As for bug reports, the only feedback I have set up right now is TestFlight. I’ve not decided if I am going to open source Arctic yet, so I don’t have a public GitHub repo for it right now. Honestly I hate TestFlight’s feedback system, so I think I prefer you post here with issues. I’ve been putting it off, but I think I will also setup a GitHub repo just for issues until I decide if the project is going to be open source or not.

It’s alright lol. If you set up a GitHub just for issues, I think it’ll be useful for you to set up the issues something similar to how the Memmy app does them. They make you tell them the minimum reproducible example, expected behaviour, app version, iOS version, device, etc. That can save time asking questions to figure out the issue and stuff.

If I come across more bugs, I’ll post them here unless you make a GitHub for issues (then I’ll post in the GitHub).

Yeah, I will definitely be using issue templates. I’ve had quite a few projects in the past where I didn’t use templates, and I can’t tell you the amount of times issues were submitted like ”I found a bug -> please fix it” and no other context was provided. I started setting up the repo this morning, but didn’t finish it before going to work. So I will finish it up tonight and include a link to it in tomorrow’s update.
