So my slow ass thumbs keep accidentally opening the post options via long pressing the posts. Is there an option to toggle that to only use the dot menu/ a feature suggestion box

I don’t think there is an option. See if anyone mentioned it on Github.
Settings > Content > Media > Peeking?
You can long press on any sync setting and it will copy a link to that setting in your clipboard.
