Comment from 2023: “Yeah, but FreeCAD has improved a lot over the past couple years, and it is finally a viable alternative now.” Comment from 2021: “Yeah, but FreeCAD has improved a lot over the past couple years, and it is finally a viable alternative now.” Comment from 2015: “Yeah, but FreeCAD has improved a lot over the past couple years, and it is finally a viable alternative now.” Comment from 2004: “Yeah, but FreeCAD has improved a lot over the past couple years, and it is finally a viable alternative now.” You can see that said about just about any FOSS software. And I am a total FOSS-head myself, more commenting on the community than the software.
