Roku has disclosed a data breach impacting over 15,000 customers after hacked accounts were used to make fraudulent purchases of hardware and streaming subscriptions.
The accounts were “hacked” when attackers found usernames and passwords leaked from unrelated sites that also worked on Roku because the account owners used the same password everywhere.
