I was about to say “I’m not surprised”.
I even thought the psychologist and psychiatrist I’ve seen the past couple of years look almost as miserable and exhausted as me.
Terrible state this country seems to be in.
It is pretty surprising that the UK has been put behind places like Sudan, Syria and DRC, so yes. Maybe we can blame the weather

Reclusive Island Monarchy Now Second Unhappiest Nation in the World
Reports indicate that the militaristic regime is now the second unhappiest nation in the world behind Uzbekistan.
With poverty rising, unelected leaders of the hermit kingdom continue to use their funding to bomb and support coups and genocides in foreign countries.
At the same time, food bank use is soaring.
Probably because this country is a shit hole. There’s nothing to do, and what little there is costs far too much money. Even a visit to the local costs a small fortune.
