Do you find Astra Greens to be inconsistent in quality? A year or so ago I bought a 100 pack because they worked so well for me, only to find out that many of the blades in the pack were apparently duds. Or at least they were duds for me. I posted about this, and other folks chimed in that this was not an experience unique to myself.
I have only really had one tuck of astra greens and they were good. Your experience sounds very close to mine with personna platinums. I had a couple good tucks then I bought a bunch and they sucked for the most part almost unusable. I’ll likely keep buying 10-20 blades at a time at least I don’t feel bad throwing away one tuck thats not working out.
I think I’ve had a similar experience with personna platinums too. But those blades already have me confused, because if I’m not mistaken I think there’s more than one blade labeled as “personna platinum”.

Great shave. I hit replay on the setup and paid more attention.
