You mean, it only can play because Proton allows it and Valve or any number of upgrades from either developer can make it unplayable.
Please stop saying it’s 100% it’s not accurate and will one day break.

It’s not always guarantee, older versions means worse than newer and Proton will eventually hit a point of failure with new games.
