It wasn’t scary, but it was disturbing and very well narrated (not a fan of some political messaging tho. Breaks the immersion). What are your thoughts on it?

    His Hill House series was scary, and is entirely different from the book. I liked that one better as a horror series.

    As for the politics, ::: spoiler spoiler Verna the supernatural creature implies Trump is one of her ‘clients’. There is also a rant related to roe v wade. I’m pro choice and hate trump, but I don’t want to see them break my immersion in a fictional series. :::

      Lmao did not know there was a TV show, couldn’t tell from reading the post that they were referring to a show instead of a book.

      References to Donald trump in a Poe book sounds wild.
