Why is there hostility towards suggestions to switch to lemmy from redditors?

some see it as “hard left” like a Truth Social for tankies.

I mean… I thought that, and that’s why I joined 🤣

Glad it hasn’t been 100% tankie, but so far I’ve felt at home with a mostly left userbase
