    exactly who is he deeply troubling? why are people like this? they are offended by the mere image of communism (i don’t mean the image hung on the wall, i mean the image of che guevara being communist).

        There’s definitely worse, and he’s not a Maoist. Don’t some Maoists denounce him as a Khrushchevite revisionist or something?

          To my understanding, Maoists believe the propaganda that the US used about the Cuban revolution, that they were just puppets of the evil “social imperialist” USSR.

      Maybe certain medical students who feel pressured to drop out and engage in praxis? That would be an interesting twist.
