Gov. Tony Evers is suing Republican state lawmakers who are blocking UW employee pay raises, conservation projects and updates to commercial building standards. The suit claims legislators are violating the Wisconsin Constitution's seperation of powers through "legislative vetoes" by a handful of powerful committees.
