But they don’t really need to make the whole sub NSFW, there’s a lot of non-sexually explicit content and they do a good job of policing proper use of the NSFW tag on posts

It’s an 18+ rated game. The sub should have been NSFW to begin with, and the mods recognised that in their response back to Reddit.
