Nothing against the devs here, but it is really not the gamers fault that it was only available on Xbox and not on PS and Switch. I wanted to “support” this game from day 1, but I couldn’t, since it was Xbox exclusive…
Imho, if you release a game on a platform, you should release the full game and not only parts of it.
But maybe this was also part of their xbox deal, idk.
I think your last statement is more likely the reality. Either it was a new deal or part of the original and this feel good message is just a way to make Xbox owners have a nice sentiment.
