DAY 30 COMPLETED! 🎉🎊 The first time in my whole life I have stuck to a daily exercise regimen! I’m feeling pretty chuffed right now. The only question for me now is what to do next! Should I move on to the intermediate level? Do something different? Decisions decisions!

I’m no expert on this, maybe if you feel ok work up a little to the next level but in incremental steps.

Anyway congratulations! Keep up the good work!

You’re honestly an inspiration given everything else you need to wrangle in your life!! I envy being able to stick to a regimen. What does the intermediate level vs Something Different look like?

Yoo that’s amazing peeler! You did it! Personally, I’d stick at the current level for maybe a few days to a week, but that’s just me. Perhaps you might be one of the people that needs an ever increasing (but doable) challenge to stay engaged?

Awesome! Proud of you sis. You’ve helped me maintain my routine as well. 10k will be walked today, I did nearly 5 at work so it’s just another hour.

My advice is to keep doing what you can make into a habit but you do you.

Freedom of speech doesn’t have to stop people from hating you. Enabling transphobia is worthy of all of our hatred. Opinions on trans people are invalid. We just are who we are. Fuck him and his dirty money. My old boss had a tesla. I called it the big ipod on wheels. He wasn’t impressed.

Freedom of speech as long as you don’t criticise him or disagree with him. Not exactly freedom is it now?

And hard to apply professionalism to him, as he’s essentially a rich toddler throwing tantrums.

Not sure what his contribution to academia is to be honest.

If he were racist he’d have been cancelled long ago. But cos he’s a transphobe and exploits his workers it’s considered freedom of speech and business as usual. I imagine his money doesn’t reflect his thoughts when it’s just him and his pillow trying to sleep.

I guess the Musk bots are out in full force.

Not even going to humble you with a response. Go back to licking his boot.

Once babies acquire a taste for human flesh you have continue feeding it to them.

Not the best solution to the homeless situation, but a solution nonetheless.

I thought we were supposed to eat the rich? Have we changed the plan again and no one told me? I seem to miss all the memos, who do I contact to get my name put back on the email list?

Eating the rich is the goal. Eating the homeless is a temporary solution to satisfy hunger. They are not mutually exclusive.

Fair enough. Canabalism is arguably the most sustainable diet. Based on the the ecological footprint calculator I was looking at if I eat just 5 other people my current lifestyle would be sustainable. If I can eat 25 I can live the lifestyle of the rich!

Now imagine if you could eat 25 rich people and gain their assets!!!

Then of course you’d be in line to be eaten next, but since you’ve been not-rich before, you could probably fool the ravenous hordes.

This could get mathematically complicated. If I eat 25 people, who are each living the lifestyle that is 25 times the sustainable amount and take their assets, I would have the assets to live the lifestyle of 625 sustainable people. So I would have to eat another 600 people to make it sustainable, which would in turn make it unsustainable. A terrible paradox.

That Extreme Ironing thing that @[email protected] mentioned was cool, typical of a Brit eccentric to invent it!

Got me thinking though - I don’t think I’ve ironed anything since the covid restrictions and lockdowns kicked in? I used to iron everything, I wouldn’t leave the house in anything wrinkled and I did this for decades. Now I just don’t care unless it’s a smart function, it’s been liberating.

I actually enjoy ironing, but my wife doesn’t, and our ironing board in Melbourne is covered with her junk so I can’t actually use it. I just avoid wearing stuff that needs ironing most of the time in Melbourne. I iron my clothes in Sydney, though.

I try to buy everything to be non iron and when washing and drying try to smooth as much as possible

The last thing I ironed was forty large sheets of calligraphy paper … 😂

I am looking at the Dandenongs and the clouds appear to be confused. How do I let them know they are supposed to be above the mountains, not underneath them?

This is not a problem isolated to technology. In any market with a monopoly, without competitive pressures there’s no reason for companies to maintain and improve their products.

No trams running on Collins St this morning sucked all of the hairy balls. I made bad decisions trying to get to Collins/Exhibition (work) and ended up having to walk uphill from Fitzroy Gardens. Rolled the dice on a strategy and lost.

My brain crossed your user name into this and I thought for second you were saying there were no bulls running on Collins Street this morning. That did not seem like it should be an unusual situation.
