I won’t make up a definition, but refer to an existing one.
Intent to destroy also known as dolus specialis is the key if something is a genocide or not.
No such special intent is evident. Israel could easily kill far more Palestinians if they intended to, but they don’t.
If you have been paying any attention, it’s clear that there is indeed an intent to destroy.
I have been paying attention very much for decades and don’t think there’s sufficient evidence for it.
