I like it, it’s not getting great reviews though. It is the kind of thing that makes you think, Maybe I should have read the book first? I think there are 11 books, including prequels that came later.
It’s visually stunning and I like the story. It’s surprisingly gender balanced for a book written in the 40s.
It’s hard to find a good pick of the dress, but this is the best I could do. It’s a Roman style breast plate with an empire (ha ha) waist full length dress, all in cobalt blue.

I admire Asimov, read a bit of I, Robot to get a feel for his three laws of robots and his short story The Last Question was fantastic
