He wouldn’t survive in the Victorian era though. In the Victorian era there were certain things expected of a gentleman and part of that was being at least corneal to the lower classes, and in some cases actually philanthropic towards them. There’s no way in hell he could pull that off.
He’s just as thick and uncouth as Anderson, except he covers that up with a veneer of class.
