Green Party nominee Jill Stein is expected to use her running mate to tap into the growing anger at Democrats over their support for Israel’s war on Gaza.
Being completely irrelevant, there’s no reason to waste time debating her, but if she meets the criteria for either I don’t think anybody cares.
So what is threshold do you think she, or ANY 3rd party candidate, needs to meet to be considered worthy of a debate? Serious question. Because her party is the 4th biggest political party in the US. Behind Libertarians.
Then you have nothing to fear, nor do you have anything to be annoyed about, when it comes to the existence of 3rd parties and the voting for 3rd parties.

If you actually cared about making third parties viable, you’d think rationally and act locally to get ranked-choice voting or similar initiatives off the ground, and not just screech about national elections where they have no chance. You’re not doing anything of substance and are thus ripe for ridicule.

I do. What makes you think I haven’t been involved in those. Also the Green Party is on the ballet in my state, and I have worked for both goals.

I’m not just screeching. I’m voting.
Are you saying we should ONLY vote for people who are going to win? That’s not very democratic, now is it?

Ridicule me all you want. I, and many of my friends, are voting Green Party this election. Proudly. Brah, I have Jill Stein bumper stickers on my car. I’m proud of it.

I don’t care about this. Until FPTP is eliminated, third parties are irrelevant.

Yes, hence the “I don’t care about this.”
Yet, you do seem to care enough to have a conversation about it, and interact in this community thread about it. So I guess you care a little bit.

The horror.

You should probably accept that.
