I went to Concorde Plaza when I visited Paris and was really surprised to find that it was just a large empty space fenced off with some cheap wire fencing, with various pieces of random road construction equipment stored there. This was just after the Rugby World Cup and there was also a pop up there selling World Cup merch. Given the history of the place I imagined that there would have been more gravitas, idk.
