I would like to know what some of your favorite lanterns are. I am really wanting one for more of a night light type of setup, in my camper. It needs to be USB-C rechargeable as well.

My choice for said application is the LT1S (non-pro). There are a lot of Andruil enthusiasts out there, but I’m not one of them. The LT1s (non-pro) has an easy UI that is simple to learn and does everything you could want. Some of the reviews of the LT1s pro aren’t very flattering in terms of output and PWM.

I agree, anduril is powerful but also complex. I still have to get out the UI chart when I want to do something other than on/off or ramping up or down. I got the regular LT1S without anduril and I’m very happy with that choice, a lantern shouldn’t be that complicated.

Most people, myself included, rarely do much more with Anduril than on/off and ramping. The reason Anduril is “complicated” is similar to why supermarkets stock items you have no need/desire for; because someone else may want the things you don’t. And it’s easier to ignore options you don’t need/want than use ones you don’t have.
