Hi everyone, I just ran in this bug.
I found online that it could be someone in the party that is making the enemies bug. I tried to switch out gale and everything works, but I really like him.
Do you think that my save is ruined? I would like to not go back (I’d lose like 4 hours of gameplay)

It sounds like those experiencing this have run into an unresolved script tied to the Auntie Ethel fight since every example I’ve come across noticed the issue either immediately after that encounter or in the Underdark, where people typically go afterward.
Did you experience any issues with that encounter? It could easily be tied to the Dialog at the end not properly activating or completing.
Nope, Auntie and the underdark worked well. After that I went to karlach and the bug began.
Best thing you can do is just do things completely different than what you were doing before to see if you can force the ai to react. So instead of one shoting one of the mobs try to intentionally kill one of your characters or something to see if that triggers the ai to do something new. Otherwise I would hope you have more than 1 save from the past 4 hours. In games like these it’s paramount to save a lot because there’re so many complex systems going on you have no idea what could go wrong. By the time I was done at 150 hours I think I had like 3000 saves lol.
