Aren’t the proposed tents in Ottawa meant to house incoming legal refugees? Like a temporary place when they first arrive until they can get set up somewhere permanent. That’s my understanding.
I’m personally unsure, would be better if they made permanent housing instead of these temporary shelter things though. Would benefit everyone at the end of the day.
