He committed a crime, did the time, and now qualifies.
Yeah, if he served his sentence, I don’t know what else you want from him. It’s not like competing in the Olympics is going to create a danger for him repeating the crime. At some point people have to be able to live their lives again.

It’s not just “living their lives again”, I wouldn’t want a pedophile rapist to represent my country at the Olympics.
