In Germany you have 6 months of probation when you start at a new workplace in these 6 months ether party can cancel the work contract without giving any reason after the 6 months are up the normal worker protection laws kick in and it’s basically impossible to get fired without being grossly negligent. Anyhow I got let go 2 weeks before that period was up they said (for me the first time hearing it) that they “weren’t satisfied with my performance” and that was that.
