For starters I wanna thank the devs for such a cool place you guys created. This has so much potential to be the next big thing out there.
Anyhow, I wanted to know the following:
How can I DM someone in lemmy?
I know Lemmy is piracy friendly but since I run a filesharing /c/ how cautious should I be?
There isn’t any private messaging or group messaging yet, that’s in the works.
Lemmy will always be friendly to file-sharing, no need to be cautious. If this instance ever picks up, I’ll move the hosting somewhere safer, but the data will always be good.
