New to the snark but longtime critic of the bird (could never bring myself to follow but I had a mutual connection from my guelph days). My main draw to this community is the hypocrisy of female empowerment influencers and corporate exploitation of women and female relationships to fuel rabid overconsumption 🤮

I found the Reddit sub the day it was banned so I missed out on a lot of the great work that was done by so many of you. Someone else asked for a TLDR of the community so figure I’d start this for anyone else who had questions.

My starter Qs…

  1. The plagiarism — what are some examples? Did people talk to her about this? If so, what’d she say?
  2. I loved Janette’s Mother’s Day parody and got some of the references but some were lost on me —could someone detail the actual story behind that?

Thanks in advance 😊👍

Here are some plagiarism examples from Reddit as well as screenshots from the user that contacted her about it.

Wow, can’t imagine what it must be like to pass the buck like that. She’s acting just like a corrupt corporation, blame it on an employee and keep rolling along.

      Thanks for sharing these

Yep, her BIPOC editor no less. We have heard from different sources that her career was ruined as a result of Sarah passing the blame.

Noooo! Omg that’s diabolical. The poor woman. That bird truly doesn’t care about anyone but herself, does she?

I remember checking in on her page to see how she responded when the George Floyd protests were happening and man was it bad. I was glad to see people calling her out and hoped it might be a growth moment for her but clearly it was aaall for show.
