@GreyTechnician Reading the one star reviews and the five star reviews were enough for me
@loobkoob Follow the #FollowFriday and also @FediFollows or here are a number of directories you can use to find people in the Fedi. the first is Trunk, at https://communitywiki.org/trunk/ The second is the Fedi directory, which I like because it’s got specialized topics and the people in this directory appear to be more active than other people in other directories. you can find it at https://fedi.directory/ and the third is another generalized directory, but it’s more about topics and it uses hashtags so I think it’s easier to find people by topics. This directory is at https://fediverse.info/explore/people and lastly, I would use hashtags as directories. subscribe to a hashtag you like and that can help you find people too!
@Hyggyldy I think I misunderstood but thank you! I bookmarked all those now!
@Hyggyldy @JohnDClay Where is the Brandon Sanderson portion of the sub because that looks like an SF gaming instance, above?

@antonim @reversebananimals I’m honestly not sure how Amazon thought GR was gonna make them money? I mean, if I wanna buy a Kindle book/book from Amazon, I never go to Goodreads. I just go there to look up series and books by authors and then just use my libraries to get the books. I knew even back then GR would **never** make Amazon money.
@JaymesRS Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! I just wish the books had synopsis on the pages, though. This is actually great!
@JaymesRS Thank you! I will check it out!

@antonim As for me, I use Bookwyrm and my libraries timeline feature in Libby.
@renard_roux @foss Do you know if it can output in Shun mamuscript format with a plugin?
@rkw_social @MacroCyclo I think so as well, yes. LibreOffice is the most maintained FOS solution to Microsoft Word. Microsoft has a billion times better accessibility support, but then again, big tech is always lightyears ahead of accessibility support, sadly! Still, I hope that tide is shifting.

@Jaluvshuskies No, it’s an alternative front end. Technically speaking, Mastodon/Hometown/Glitch are the Twitter of the Fediverse. I am on Hometown.
What about Discorse? https://meta.discourse.org/t/activitypub-support-phase-1-rfc/132624 @maegul @ajsadauskas @lemmyreader
