And I’m STILL seeing his content after leaving Reddit??
I’d recommend you also get a cheap (likely $5-10) hygrometer to check the humidity levels inside, getting it to stay between 30% and 50% is best for air quality according to the EPA. If it’s above or below that you’d want to get a dehumidifier or a humidifier.
Don’t waste your money on anything that doesn’t have a HEPA filter, that’s the golden standard.
Make sure you’re doing a bit of math on how much air purifying power you need, what works for a 100 sq ft room with an 8 ft ceiling is going to be insufficient in a 400 sq ft room with a 10 ft ceiling.
Fortunately, someone has made a nice calculator for that here.
Winix and Honeywell have been good brands in my experience.

Unfortunately, that is also a decision.
The one I would also most like to do, if only it was safe and I wasn’t disabled: wingsuiting. Even if I wasn’t disabled I still wouldn’t do it, just because I don’t want to die by smashing into the ground at 60 mph. But moving through the sky like that sounds incredible.
Don’t ask that either!!
I’m going to a museum today actually 😎
(Don’t ask what I’m doing until then)
(Might want to recheck what community this is)
Honestly, the cat helps me on that front. And unlike a child, I can ethically just give her some drugs and turn the TV when I don’t feel like dealing with her right that minute.
I thought this was going to be about middle and high school students, not PhD students 😬
I wonder if a way to deal with this is to just accept that students are going to use LLMs and have them bring in both their prompts and what output they think looks good. That way you can at least bypass the lie that they’re not using ChatGPT, try to see what they’re going for and what they’re not confident about or don’t understand, and have some honest discussions about that. Trying to instill the idea that using an LLM should be close to the beginning of the process and not the end would be nice, but my hopes aren’t high on that front.
I don’t know about all of it, but a heavy watermelon is well watered and more likely to be sweet since it’s had the resources to put tons of energy into growing all season. The same principle works for finding good citrus, you want something that feels heavy for its size.
Maybe it’s just my area but there’s also like, a 25% chance the reader won’t work and you’ll just get a free ride if you try to pay with your phone rather than cash. It makes hopping on the bus a fun gamble!
Scavengers Reign is incredible, easily the best animated sci fi show made in the past few years IMO. It’s weird and emotional and deeply sincere in a way a lot of media isn’t anymore.
If you liked Fantastic Planet you’ll probably like Scavengers Reign.
It’s also common for arboretums (and other museums) to have free days once a month, if you want to visit on the cheap.
My neighborhood is mostly concrete and apartments, but a few blocks away it’s multimillion dollar houses, well kept lawns, and huge shade trees. So I cross the 8 lane highway to get there and enjoy walking around and looking at their expensive shit for free.
