Three residents arrested after standoff with BGE

Residents from various neighborhoods gathered around 7 a.m., standing between the machinery equipment set to drill the street in front of the rowhouses in the 400 block of Warren Avenue.

Concerned about safety, accessibility, and aesthetics, residents protested and stopped BGE workers from installing external gas regulators. Three residents were arrested for blocking the work.
