Any idea what those wood bench/table-like things outside of each tent are for?

    If not for lacing boots, maybe for climbing into something high off the ground, like a truck? I immediately thought of mounting horses, but I think I forgot which century it is.

    If there is 50 people per tent, like it’s been suggested, I wonder if they aren’t used for water jugs for personal hygiene? Picture Jerry cans with little spigots on the caps. I used them back in the day. But use a little water to brush your teeth, shave, whores bath, whatever. Also to drink

    Just an idea.

      Think it probably is boots, guessing four people per tent, store your boots underneath, so you don’t track dirt into the tent then sit/ leg up on-top to tie up your boot
