In my experience, it isn’t really like that. I used to be the only guy in a medical transcription class in college. It was kind of like I was invisible most of the time, but the older women in the class treated me normally at least.
As a guy who went to nursing school and was like one of 5 guys in a class of 80, it definitely isn’t as great as it sounds. Mostly it means that there is a lot of cliques and your options are be ignored/ignore them, or get involved in which case there WILL be drama
I was one of the 5 guys in my nursing class as well. Our class was a bit smaller, maybe 40, but I really vibed with it. I chose the option of seeming “aloof”, so I could ignore the cliques and drama. I was in a relationship most of the time too, so that helped with being uninterested.
Only had a problem with one teacher for a semester (no idea why she was so hard on me), but after a visit to her office to help me improve my clinical paperwork, she lightened up. Actually became one of my favorites, even though still very scary
But idk, I kinda liked the almost-all-girl thing. Lots of attractive girls to hang out (and commiserate with), plus I had plenty enough guy time at work and with friends. It was a cool change of pace for me.
But also… fuck nursing school. Some of the most stressful years of my life. Girls or nah, you can’t make me go back
Agreed, 80 women in a grouping usually means a bunch of weird cliques. Meanwhile ya have 80 dude in grouping and you will end up with cliques they are usually subject based IE warhammer clique, weired car clique, sports clique and will dissolve and form at complete random.
