It’s not a trans thing or anything close, but almost all trans people pass through a denial stage where they deny that they want to be a boy or a girl and say things like “well, all boys wanted to dress as a girl at least once, I just want it alot, I’m not trans”
What exactly does “being in denial” mean exactly? I’ve seen those words thrown around a lot, especially around trans communities.

It means not wanting to accept/believe in something that’s true, like accepting you are balding (or accepting you are trans).
