This is a thing that exists (and the wikipedia article is written with no self-awareness including no arguments from black communists or any historical context including America’s segregation and subjugation of black peoples being one of the chief inspirations for Nazi Germany):

/edit: grammar
A whole Wikipedia article just to call a phrase “whataboutism”. lmao
“We perpetuate systemic crimes against humanity but the real crime is in calling that out.”
One of things I have found is that the hubris of imperialism and colonialism means they openly admit their crimes and write it down in their newspapers, books and webpages, and in this day and age video themselves doing the crime. I first discovered this for myself when I was younger reading about British Imperialism against India; they were essentially boasting back to the base that they shouldn’t let go of India in the Scramble for Africa.
they openly admit their crimes and write it down in their newspapers, books and webpages, and in this day and age video themselves doing the crime.
Many such cases…

Holy shit that was some epic wiki-cope from our good friends at
The US: does terrible things for its entire existence, including fabricating crimes other nations are doing to undermine them https://youtu.be/NK1tfkESPVY?feature=shared&t=276
Other nation: allegedly puts some extra attention on terrible stuff the US is doing in secret as an op, according to US claims
The US: How dare you distract from the crimes we made up by supposedly calling attention to the crimes we are actually doing, other nation!
They have no shame.
