Well, about a month ago I did a stupid and ripped my achilles in half going too slow off a drop at Ride Rock Creek and landing to flat. Picture folding your toes up against your tibia, there ya go. Surgery and a couple weeks later, here’s the damage.

So here’s your friendly reminder to commit or eat shit, warm up before you ride, and don’t ride tired. The worst part about this whole thing is I absolutely could have done this feature. But instead of just stopping and running it back, I went for it when I definitely didn’t have enough speed.
